Our work began in the early 2000s with the Doxology project and then The Truth Isn’t Sexy campaign. As our projects developed, a community of people grew around them, all wanting to make a difference, to act and not just wax lyrical about how to change the world. MH has done social justice projects, art projects, building projects and started businesses in order to see this happen.
That community became a collective of talented, entrepreneurial and passionate folk called Matryoshka Haus.
Non-profits, foundations, faith centers and social enterprises have sought us out for support and guidance in their work. This has led us to starting courses and creating tools that will help others achieve more impact in their work.
Learn more about our history and where we’re going in this piece written by Matryoshka Haus’ (un)official historian and archivist, Brad Sargent.
In 2019 we made the decision to restructure and spin out our work into three organizations, RootedGood, The Good Maker’s Society, and the Ti Group.
